One of my issues with the Ultimates has been Millar seemed to take their greatest flaws from the 616 versions and exaggerate them. Making them in the words of someone else "caricatures" of people. The Hulk isn't just a destructive monster, it is a being that reveals in it beyond anything human. Tony Stark wasn't just a womanizing alcoholic, he went into important battles completley plastered. Hank Pym wasn't just a wife-beater, he had little if none redeeming qualities. Since when did every character being certifiable equal realism?

: The real world is not that black-and-white.
:
: Millar has thrown the Avengers into the real
: world, and portrayed them with near perfect
: accuracy (okay, so that's a slight
: exaggeration, but you know what I mean).
:
: Peace.
