Posted by seeker on 5/24/2007, 1:24 am, in reply to ""The One" and only ultimate review of Ultimates 2 #13 [spoilers]" : Thor did use his brain, though it is odd how Loki's powers suddenly weakened. : - As usual, Millar's dialogue is top notch I didn't like some of the things he did with some of the characters such as tony stark, but each person has their own preference. : THE BAD: - Despite my love of the 8-page Agreed : - Hulk was underutilized. I would have loved Problems with a compact battle. Agreed : - The Avengers versus Lord of the Rings. Too I like fantasy and think it could have been worked, but Millar throwing it into the last issue after having so much of it steeped in the real world would be like watching an old war movie and in the last fifteen minutes with no buildup having the Klingons invade or something similar. Is the 8/10 how the issue itself connects to the series or your thoughts on the series as a whole? :

:
: THE GOOD: - The first few pages of Thor and
: Loki fighting is the most excellent
: portrayal I've seen of a hero trying and
: successfully escaping the grip of a reality
: bender. It was extremely well written (eg.
: Thor asking Loki why he's wet).
: and his characterizations are spot on.
: spread, I would have rather had a 2-page
: spread with 6 additional pages of story.
: seeing him stomp some orcs, or even those
: large horned creatures.
: - What the heck is up with the last couple
: of pages of Steve Rogers in 1942? That
: completely lost me.
: much fantasy for me.
:
:
: STORY: 8/10 (if you've read the series)
: 3/10 (if you haven't read the
: series)
: ART: 9/10 (would be a 10 if it weren't
: for the coloring and inking)
:
What was wrong with the coloring and inking?
