The issue was pretty damn good. I intentionally didn't reread the previous issues in hopes that I could prove a point but I proved one I didn't want to. The story was easy to follow and the art was as good as any in the series. I'm still not the biggest fan of Hitch's but he delivers the goods here. And Millar's story is as good as anything else of his I've read. I tend not to reread them like I do other series but in the moment they are big explosive fun. So I was disappointed how much I liked this and the way Millar left the toys for Loeb to play with. I still won't read anything else on the strength of Hitch and Millar's names alone (I don't want massive delays unless the story excites me more than Ultimates did) but I'm happy I bought this issue despite my frustrations.
