Yawn. I think I'm a masochist 'cause I keep on buying this book. Ben Oliver's art still feels like 22 pages of people standing around stiffly or lounging stiffly. It's also the third issue in a row that feels like set up. Followed by the seven out of the last ten issues that felt like set up. Kirkman's work on the series feels like all foreplay with no denoument. Even the big ressurrection just feels boring and it's accompanied by yet another revelation of what a jackass Xavier is. I assume we're killing time until Singer's arc (and after the disasters with Alan Heinberg, the Lost producer, and Jodi Picoult should they still be planning for that?) but isn't Tony Bedard available? He's done amazing pinch hitting arcs on series and I think he'd do a sweet job here. At the very least he ain't boring and that's one quality the series very much needs a break from.
