This is one of those stories where you have to re-read it a few times to catch everything, familiarize yourself with the characters, and note all the details that relate to the overall story. Hence it seems confusing. What I wrote above is what I originally thought. I thought that it was 'me' who was the problem. Now, I'm not so sure. Maybe it really is just bad writing. My thoughts on the art are mixed. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I think it's too sloppy. Overall, it's very acceptable.
