I wanted more than cutting loose years of continuity like maybe a tweak somewhere in the relationship between the Four. Maybe I'll give it another shot when the next writer comes around. Ultimates? It's pretty to look at but an outsider commenting on our society falls a little flat to me and rings a little hypocritical considering the UK is hardly better and yet is off the target range of someone raised in its culture and who probably understands it better than he does ours. Plus, I prefer books that I don't have to reread the previous issue of when the new one comes out because it's been so long that I've begun to forget details. I will say one thing: Ultimates has given me a new appreciation of bi-monthly titles that I didn't have before because now I know there's much worse alternatives.
