Merry Christmas everyone. Don't take the decorations down just yet, though--there's a bit more of the wonderous holiday season to go. The twelve days of Christmas, that part of the season known as Christmastide, began Christmas eve and runs until January 6th (known as the Epiphany of Our Lord, the day we set aside to celebrate the visit of the three wise men, or magi, to the child Jesus). And thanks to all of you who have kept the Advent season holy and resisted the temptations of mainstream consumerism and excess.
