Hi,
I saw your ad on DreamHorse and then followed your youtube
video to finally arrive at this site.
I am interested in Argento. I have been riding since I was 5 years old and have done most of it in jumping and equitation.
I currently have a 24 yr old Appendix quarter who was evented and is now more or less hanging out with my grandchildren.
I raised Saddlebreds for many years but currently only have a Mule who I raised from a 3 gaited world champion. She is 18 yrs old. Needless to say, I keep the horses I buy or raise, so Argenta would have a home for life. I now do mostly trail and arena work and have a interest in dressage. Since I'm 58, it would obviously be just a hobby. My one concern is that he has only been under saddle for 2 months. Where has he been for all those years? Is he totally sound? Since I already have 2 aging animals, I want a healthy solid horse. I would appreciate some history on him.
I live in Newcastle 25 miles east of Sacramento. We have 5 acres, a large barn with runs on every stall, and 2 irrigated pastures. I do trailer out quite a bit so that would also be something he would need to be comfortable with.
I look forward to hearing from you. A regular video would also be nice as the youtube was very jerky and hard to see.
Do you also have TWH? I tried several since I have owned 5 gaited Saddlebreds. They seemed to be difficult to balance but neither had their feet correctly trimmed and balanced. I've reached a stage in my life where I am ready for a new horse but he needs to be the right one.
