I have an upper level dressage horse that has to be retired - a badly bowed tendon remains 'soft' so she cannot be ridden at all, but is pasture sound. She is an 'alpha' mare, a diva, and I just cannot turn her out to pasture in a large herd.
She needs a pasture buddy or two, blankets in the winter, and TLC. Does anyone know of anyplace that takes care of very special horses?
