I too have a boy with Down syndrome, he will be three years in November. I am in the first stages of placing him in a Pre-School or Play group. I have found the places that fit his needs the most, are orginizations or groups willing to place him in a group that is about his size and slightly above his development level. By doing that, he is given the chance to bond and play with children that can not run him over constantly, Also get the benifit from the exposure to children begining to speach understandable words.
