Horrors, Martin, please take the "Junior" away from the name of the message board, whoever put it there in the first place!!! 
England footballer Frank Lampard also has a father by the same name - and he was a footballer as well. The younger Lampard was known as Frank Lampard Junior for a time, in the dim and distant past, but since he's outstripped his father in fame, he's now just Frank Lampard and his father is known as his dad, the bearded man who comes to watch him play.
Weren't there also British prime ministers called Pitt the Elder and Pitt the Younger who were father and son with the same first name William?
