There is a website I like (OK, it's in really bad taste, I admit) where they have a pool on which celebrities are likely to die in the next year. You pick your top 10 and then, should you be right, you're rated on the success of your picks. I don't participate in the pool, but it's a great source of information on celebrity deaths - they keep track of absolutely EVERYBODY, even really obscure people (except Gilbert O'Sullivan, which is the reason I went there - to see how old he is these days).
ANYWAY, just for shits and giggles, I decided to look Don up and see if anybody had picked him for their list and it turns out that 24 people did! Now, you get extra points if someone who isn't known to be really old or on the verge of death kicks the bucket, so it could just be people hoping for something like that, but it struck me as extremely odd that ANYBODY would have chosen Don out of the thousands of other possibilities out there.
Feel free to smack me down if you think I shouldn't have posted this (Annie), but I just couldn't believe that anybody had him on their list at all. He's not THAT old and he's healthy, unless 24 people know something we don't and, hell, we're the Don FBI.
Oh, a word of warning... This site is an offshoot of rotten.com, one of the most gruesome sites on the Internet. If you're not into nightmares, you might want to avoid looking at that one, especially the photos.
