Well there's Loudon Snowden Wainwright III (singer, songwriter, actor) , son of Loudon Snowden Wainwright, Jr (author and writer for Life Magazine). All from a wealthy family background, so maybe so.
Loudon has sung in his song 'Westchester Country' of being raised in a life of country clubs, swimming pools, tennis clubs, posh dinners etc. He also went to school with Liza Minnelli and often visited her mom's house (Judy Garland) for tea.
I dunno . . . just musing at 3.am cos I can't sleep
