Pete is doing a Scottish 'tour' just now and I caught him on Monday at a folk club in Stirling.
Despite having the audacity to say that he did not know who William Wallace was (in the shadow of the Wallace monument!) Pete's show went down very well. He had quite a few new songs, including a great tribute to the late John Wright.
Pete's solo shows in Scotland go on into next week and then in October he is touring Germany and the Netherlands with the band (www.other-roads.com). The band has a CD out in October called 'The Angels Share' which as every schoolboy knows refers to the portion of Scotch whisky lost due to evaporation during the maturation process! Nice title.
Anyway he asked after all you Donnie folks so consider yourselves remembered.
