Hi Everyone,
I just bought the CD from the official store (I'm in Australia) and it cost me $49.60. A typical new release CD can be picked up for $19.90-$24.90 here.
When I bought it, I didn't really think about it and didn't actually look at the price. When I got my bank statement I was horrified!
Of course, I accept full responsibility - I just didn't really think about the UK conversion when I bought it, which is my fault.
I am just really miffed and feel very ripped off. I actually don't enjoy the album anyway, I think it is a bit tacky (although that is just a personal taste issue)
So I googled:
"addicted to black" "don mclean" expensive
and found this website and this thread. Sorry to impose, I just wanted to commiserate about the price with you guys.
Very unimpressive!
