Hi Jester

I have said before that if you only had one Don McLean album it should be this one. If you listen to it you can see exactly why for many fans the days of the solo shows were the halcyon ones, and I feel priveleged that I was around to hear him.

Obviously times have moved on and there seems no way that Don will ever tour this way again. I have no problem with that...many of the songs are enhanced by having the band and Don still does some solo stuff too.

Hope you manage to get across to Europe next year. A bed is always available for you here if you want to visit London. Sarahjayne will (hopefully) tell you that it's untidy but comfortable and I don't bite! lol
