I should have said 8 Miles High was banned by the BBC. Mind you when I see what else they banned you have to wonder!! I mean 'Boom Bang A Bang' seems inoffensive even during the Gulf War.
Strangely the list doesn't seem to include Chuck Berry's 'My Ding A Ling' which I am almost sure I remember being banned when it was Number 1.
