Well, he's still hanging in there - he's coming out from under the dresser once in a while to drink, but he's still not interested in food.
The great news is that Daddy bought an air conditioner for my hut today!!! It took us 4 hours of torture to install it (had to get the other one out, which SUCKED, AND enlarge the hole in the wall), but it's in and working now. At least the kitties will be more comfortable, especially during the day, now. I think Daddy did it more for their sakes than mine, and I'm OK with that. I hope Whitey will feel so much better in the A/C that he'll miraculously recover, but I'm not holding my breath for that. More realistic to say that at least his last days will be more comfortable.
I can hope for a miracle, though. Keep those good thoughts aimed at him. He's a very sweet boy and deserves the best.
