Drat, grrrrr - I should delete Bill's post and repost the link as mine. 
Great review. I loved all the bit about the sound on the support artist. I have been to several gigs of local artists in pubs in the last two months and experienced all the said faults - too much bass, too LOUD and lyrics unintelligible. When it's good, it's good.
