I'm not too worried about stuff I write here, but it is a GOOD idea to think about what you reveal online, even what you write somewhere you think nobody is likely to see. We're all fairly savvy about this stuff, but Kerstin is right to alert us to realize that nothing here is really private.
It's not too big of a concern for most of us, provided we use good sense (I don't want to say "common sense" because that's a bit of a joke, really). Some people are incredibly stupid about what they allow to be seen online. Kestin, if you don't have anyone stalking you (and I really hope you don't) and don't post anything of a private nature, I don't think you have a ot to worry about, especially since you seem VERY cautious.
Is your Google alert for "Don McLean?" I have a Yahoo alert for that and all it ever seems to alert me to is the occasional article where someone mentions "American Pie." It's certainly never given me a link to this page. I guess it's trolling the news, though, not the Internet in general. Maybe I should do a Google alert, too...
By the way, I'm at the library and about to get kicked off the computer. I came in late and only had 10 minutes. 99% of you won't care, but one of you might.
