Thanks Karman, Jester and Martin.
Just to clarify, because I seem to have confused a few people, although my dad's heart attack was whilst I was away, I managed to get to see him on the Thursday night before he died. He was conscious and definitely recognised me. Although talking was hard for him, his last words to me were 'How was your holiday?' (s).
I am so thankful that I was able to make it in time for that.
