I had a similar problem as Neil did, because I clicked on Don's name at the panel on the left instead of the start button on the player. There is also another screen, a small one, at the bottom of the left panel, which shows Don singing soundlessly. This confused me: I thought we had to click somewhere there to get the sound.
When in doubt, click "Home" at the top, and then the small picture of Don with the mike. The player should come back. When you press the start button, Nell would come on, the girl in brown (at least I think she's Nell). Just click about a third of the way on the line on which the little blue rectangle moves, and then you'll get Don in the middle of singing "Crying" and then he sings some AP.
I hope I haven't added to the confusion. Anyway, thanks a lot, Bill N, for the link.
I don't know why Hannah only gets the sound without the image!! There must be a way of sorting that out.
