Man, I never claimed you were inexperienced, I said we had different experiences.
"We (experienced dog people) tried a few things and then went to Electricity,(i.e collar) -it wasn't working...and as the intensity increased-he went the "other" way-the level of his fight increased.The obvious was his association with WHERE the "stimulus"(....) was coming from."
Now this is something worth talking about. Some of the dogs I've worked with had the same problem with outing a toy. The solution I found worked best, depending on the dog of course, was to suit up and have the handler alpha roll him, and I mean a hard assed alpha roll, while another handler stood by with the remote for the collar. Once the fight was over, whenever the dog tried to push the alpha positioned handler away, he got a shock. Not even close to full power, but strong enough to where he felt it. The dog would eventually associate the shock to the disapproving handler rather the coming from the subject the dog was biting.
