I'm not an expert on hog hunting with dogos, not even close. I do know, however, that dogos are generally trained from puppyhood to be as aggressive as possible to their prey. Training to have more controlled aggression toward a different type of prey wouldn't do anything. The malinois isn't banned, the shepherds aren't banned. I've heard many more horror stories about labs than dogos. The only horror story I can find about a dogo is the one where the dog bit the reporter and I have to say, I don't believe the dogo was totally at fault in that situation. I believe if anything, being used as a LEO canine would only increase the protect it from being banned. Nothing like a bunch of cops stepping up and defending something to get lawmakers to change their minds.
