No pun intended here but this is still a Dogo is it not, the dog we're talking about out of non hunting and non proven parents.....to say how could you expect her to perform to any acceptable level.
It's too bad the parents didn't come from hunters but to say this dog doesn't have much chance becoming a good hunter based on it's parents weren't in the hands of hunters is a little much. It is a young breed that loses its instincts quick yes, but not quick enough to say there isn't much of a chance this female making a good hunter. There can be the worst line that has done nothing for generations never been in the field, but could still throw the odd great pup with lots of instinct.
I know with this young breed one generation can make a huge difference, but it is still 100% a Dogo Argentino. The breed that is first and foremost a hunting dog, If those instincts got completely washed out with one generation of non hunting then that would be sad, it maybe not from hunting parents but it is still Dogo Argentino. And I know it's sad that you do see Dogos that are cowards and lack drive and they do so happen to come from a line that doesn't hunt very much, every dog is a different dog but the majority of that is due to improper if any culling.
It goes both ways of course lines are a huge part, But the dog makes the blood.
I hope this dog works out for Bodog, at least he's willing to take her out and try her so all power to you. And as for lack of confidence and such, like somebody said I think that's something you won't know until you try her but her being "skiddish" could be a complete different scenario when those instincts turn on.
But you had said you know the pedigree? Could you post it and maybe some pics of her please?
Thanks
