I think the best boxer Argentina has ever produced is still Carlos Monzón, no doubt about it. One of the best MW in boxing history, 14 title defenses (and retired undefeated) when there was only 1 boxing association in the world.
As for Martínez's next bout, it seems it will be Chavez Jr. Mayweather would be next, if they agree on the weight. Martínez has only 3% bodyfat and is ripped to the bone; he CAN'T fight in a smaller category without giving some advantage.
