The thing that I found most intriguing was that the Puma was not afraid of the people.He/she must have known that they were there(noise,scent,etc)And yet it stayed there FOR A LONG TIME,that is kind of scary.
I used to hunt(for over 10 years) in an area(in California) that had lots of Puma sign,and yet I only saw one Puma,once. They are usually very elusive.When I was Elk Hunting in Colorado in 1996 we saw a Large Puma and the guide,commenting on how lucky I was to see this one, told me that some people live in 'Lion(Puma) country all of their life and NEVER see one...Maybe it's different down there??Maybe this one was young and inexperienced?(he looks fairly large).I AGREE with both of you and I don't know why this one wasn't,at least,Harassed.
