Yes, it is the Argentinean Andes. And no, we didn't have to share the place with many tourists...it's a pretty isolated paradise, at least still. The water is exactly as you say, refreshing. You jump in and you can stay for a few minutes also, but when you get out you feel completely renewed. It's 15 centigrade (which I thought was 55 F).
