South American Jaguar ("Panthera Onca") is much larger, heavier and powerful than an African Leopard. In fact, it is the 3rd largest feline in the world, after the Tiger and the lion. Large males have been recorded at 350 lbs, matching a lioness or a tigress, and more than duplicating the size of a large male puma.
