There is a big project to reintroduce the Jaguar in it's natural habitat; in this case, an almost virgin area of 3 million-acres in Iberá, Corrientes, Argentina. There are about 150 jaguars left in Argentina's wilderness, mostly up north. The idea is to reintroduce it in this area in Corrientes, where there is almost no population and very few cattle but a lot of natural prey, in a project with an initial span of 10 years.
