thanks kaqkk,
none of the wounds were serious. looked venous, which generally are easy to stop bleeding till movement dislodges the clot. what bothered us most was her lethargy. turns out the wounds were less than the beating she took maintaining her hold. randy
ps we generally just leave most wounds alone as long as the dog can reach them to lick
