I have spoken to Scott a couple of times before, and am pretty sure that he is NOT hunting anything he breeds. But I would contact him to clear that up. He is a nice guy and has been with dogos for a long time.
I am sorry for your loss. And understand that finding a related dogo will help fill a void left in your hearts, but would encourage you to look more closely at the reason for a premature death and ask Scott about the related dogos health. It may be the cause for you to be back in the same place 9 years from now, rather than 13-15 years.
