I think I'm a bit further south than you are. WE have a lot of "coydogs", that aren't wolf hybrids per se but are "wild" domestic dogs breeding with coyotes. When I owned the taxidermy studio we had quite a few come in that were in the 65 + range....big, and obviously not pure yotes but impressive.
There are a lot of them around the place we live in now. Last years groups killed well over 70 within a 5 block radius of our property...needless to say they've been less visible this summer.
We're going to track at least with our dogos (as they get older) - the blocks are small so I'm not sure we'll allow them to run them, but may allow them to on the swamp here. I'm trying to find a few more guys who have experience using their Dogo on coyotes.
Do you know any??
