This blade is 10" at the heel, I normally use a much shorter knife (coldsteel, peacemaker 7" blade 12" overall) this is my first knife of this type Marcelo so I am not yet sure how I will like it and if I will be capable of doing the job with it, I hope so because I do not like a hog to suffer any longer then it has to---- kinda one of those lesson learned things.
In any event if anything ill put blood on it a few times and then use it as a decoration piece since it was brought to me from France by a dear friend its is very nice knife.
