Regarding breeding - does the age of a b###h or male for that matter effect the quality of the litter. I know that after a certain age people stop breeding a b###h. I am wondering if this because and older b###h can not physically meet the demands to produce the conditions/environment/nutrients within the womb to create the same healthy pups she was capable of earlier on in her life, or if there is a genetic deterioration in some manner that I don't know of that makes this undesirable.
Like wise does a male not pass on his best genes after a certain age? Is a male capable of passing on the same good genetics throughout his life?
To put it short is there an optimum time in the life cycle of a dog in which they pass on their best genetics, or do they have the same capacity to pass on the same genetics all their life? Do we simply retire them because it becomes to risky for the female and well I don't know what for the male?
