Im new to you all and just as new to hunting hogs. Friday nit My brother sed he was going down to Tennessee to hunt boar and asked if I would go. We drove 9 hours down just to find that thier catch dog was hurt. After that long of a drive we decided to hunt with 3 curs, which ONLY bayed. The first hog we found 15 min in to the hunt.My brother has never used a knife so I caught that back leg and he got to get the first one. He was very happy I came as he was going down originally to shot a pig, while sitting in a blind. We let the dogs go again and about 2 hours later, and a lot of running those hills we had a nother. This hog was a little more mad. We got to this hog on the top of the largest hill for miles and chased him almost all the way to the bottom to a water hole. I got behind and grabed a leg only to slip. He turned and stuck his lil tooth in my leg. One of the other guys caght this hog and I was handed a knife to finish.
