Interesting thread. Had the same problem yesterday evening. Temperature wasnīt that high (around 30°C), but humidity was quite extreme. So after 30 minutes walking in the forest my Dogo suddenly looked wobbly albeit only for a few seconds and I was very concerned about it. I gave him time to rest and half an hour later in stop and go mode I was finally back at my car where I gave him some water before driving home.
I personally try to follow these rules on hot summer days: Only walk in the shadow, never unleash the dog, let the dog control the pace and donīt force him to move on if he slows down or stops, let the dog take a rest if he likes.
