Antonio came from a very wealthy family, yes. Specially his father. But although dogos were created by an elite family, I don't think they are destined to the elite, and certainly Antonio didn't think it that way, nor Agustín, who bred and gave away for free around 1000 dogos in his own life. Like I said, Luis could have all the dogos he wanted, for free. And although maintenance is an issue, if it were the only one he would bypass it somehow. He would find a way. The reasons he is using other dogs are all the ones I mention in my post.
