Dogos for Ring sports?

I know this is a long debated subject on other boards but I would like to hear from some members here. Are Dogos sutable for French Ring,Schutzhund, and the like? I belive yes. There are a few here in the US that have titles. Could it be the exeption and not the rule? Is this breed too difficult to train? If GSD's and Mal's can herd sheep and compete in sport then why couldent a boar hunter? Now,I dont own a Dogo so maybe im just asking foolish questions.We dont have much boar hunting here in New York. If I were to get a Dogo it would be for competition...Is it possible or would I be wasting my time? Thank you Erik S
