Regarding the dogs? They just need to be careful not to get stomped, which is something they learn since puppies. I have been blessed with the luck of being able to hunt not only with extremely well-oiled dog packs, but also well-trained hunting horses. Horses that know how to run behind a boar, and who would even not hesitate to roll down a boar with their own legs. Horses that know when to crash through brush, jump over it, or just cut a corner (I like to say they "read" the brush). Those horses are very good at not stomping dogs. If the dogs are also experienced enough, it comes full circle.
