My Nana had a case or two of seltzer delivered to her house about every two weeks - those thick blue or green glass bottles with the chrome nozzles on top, and they came in wooden cases. She liked her seltzer plain, but she either made egg creams or squirted a little fruit-flavored syrup into it for me.
