This is why we feel a sense of rejuvenation moving downtown from the suburbs here. No more screened-in porch or pool or isolation. Now we sit on our porch with ice pops or a beer and shmooze with people walking by. Or we can stroll to the park or the library or just on the main street which makes me think I'm back on Myrtle Ave. I feel like a kid again!
