That sounds pretty organized for those days. It must have been a nice experience which, evidently, you remember in detail. As soon as the term ended, we would just hit the streets. The first thing was a visit to the QBPL on Forest and Madison to pick up some summer reading. Then it was mainly stoop and sidewalk games for us girls and ball in the street for the boys. Walks on Myrtle Avenue were always fun!
