There was a teensy-weensy article tucked in a corner of the local daily fishwrapper stating that the Friends of the Library would be running a used bookshop every Saturday at the branch closest to my house! Hardbacks $2, paperbacks 25 or 50 cents, DVDs $2 and $3 ... and donations in kind or in $$$ would be welcome! At last somewhere close where I can browse to my heart's content for next to nuttin', and I can donate books from my "gathering dust" pile to a good cause.
