It's gonna be hot-hot-hot today - in the mid-90s! And more of the same until the middle of next week - it's one of those super-bright days where it even LOOKS hot!
Good news about Da Elder Son - the heavy plaster cast is off his leg as of yesterday - replaced by an inflatable one with a hard sole - the doctors want him to begin - gingerly - to put weight on the leg, although he still needs to use crutches. No firm date for the next surgery yet, but it looks to be next month some time, so I'll be headed back to DC then. He's a much happier camper since he got rid of that plaster behemoth!
I'm waiting to be "momnapped" for the second time this week - Da Younger Son and DIL have hatched some sort of elaborate "plot" for Mother's Day - I got momnapped yesterday and taken on a shopping spree, and Da Kiddo called last night to inform me that they'd come by today for "round 2". I don't know what they're up to (Da Spouse does, but he's not talking! LOL), but I'm loving every second of it! LOL
