My BFF and I, and our dates, had tickets for the week before the Beatles, and the week after ... The Beach Boys performed one of the weeks, and Robert Goulet sang on the other show - along with the usual animal act and comedian and God knows who or what else. You had to KNOW somebody to get tickets for the Beatles' appearances on Ed Sullivan ... so my BFF and I sat in my living room in front of the TV and swooned. LOL
