He's BEAUTIFUL!! My Rocky was also a pound puppy - he was 5 months old when we adopted him. He had been surrendered because the owner had developed allergies - understandable with all that hair. He was my 3rd cocker - they all had sweet dispositions, and like your Korby, Rocky was happiest when he had his head on your foot and could snooze away. He never ever, not even once in all the years we had him, barked. I asked the vet if there was a medical reason, and she checked him out and said everything was fine - it was simply that he was totally content, and had us pretty well trained to anticipate his needs - so he didn't have to "speak". I guess I have that effect on dogs - in the 9 years we've had my Magnificent Magnolia Belle (a Catahoula Leopard Dog), she has let outabout 3 individual woofs ... she's happy, she has all her needs met by her two-legged staff (Da Spouse and me), and she sleeps - and snores!! - a lot.
