Spring lasts all of about a minute and a half here (it's like autumn that way) - by the middle of April it'll be H-O-T and really, really humid.
I loved Spring in Da Homeland, where it really WAS an identifiable season. Here it goes by so fast that if it comes at night, you sleep through it and wake up the next morning in the middle of summer.
