I lived in NJ at that time but a brother in MV told me how his entire block then shoveled a 1 lane path a block long to get a pregnant neighbor by car out to Eliot ave. & to Queens Hosp. to have her baby just an hour later.
BTW It's a very chilly 40 here in no.east Tx.but sunny.
