We're sweltering but not choking here in NE Flarrider. It's well into the 90s and VERY humid, but the fires up on Cumberland Island just north of here are pretty much under control so at least smoke is not a factor for us.
I can sympathize about the choking smoke - in 1998 when virtually all of Florida was burning, the air was thick and sooty - irritated throats and eyes the minute we walked outdoors. We ended up having to change our AC filter just about once a week instead of once a month for almost that whole summer.
Take care of yourself!
